Kate graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007, followed by a 12-month internship at House & Jackson in Essex. She joined the LEV team as an assistant in 2008, gaining Partnership in January 2014. She has RCVS Advanced Practitioner Certificates in two veterinary disciplines: Equine Medicine; and Orthopaedics and Surgery, passed in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
Kate is an FEI treating vet and became an FEI Official Veterinarian in Eventing in 2014. She regularly attends BE events providing on-site care to equine competitors and is a keen follower of all equestrian disciplines. Her particular areas of interest are lameness, poor performance, critical care, complicated medicine cases and sports horse medicine.
In her spare time she can be found walking her much loved Springer Spaniel Oscar, pampering her retired mare Mia or training and competing with her Selle Francais mare Gloria.
